10 Essentials for Bringing Home a Puppy

It’s tip Tuesday and in honor of this week marking a year with welcoming our Remy into our family I wanted to write and dedicate a post to my fur baby. I also wanted to share 10 essential items that helped us to survive and navigate the joys of training and having a puppy!

Remy is a toy goldendoodle and the dog I have always dreamed of having. He’s smart, spunky, and full of energy! He’s the first dog I’ve ever had and it took A LOT of convincing my husband to get him on board for a dog! It was a rough year last year, in case you missed our shenanigans here is a blog post I wrote about our year. With 2 years into the pandemic, my kids missing out on traditional school and homeschooling, a stressful business venture we had started, I was ready to bring some happy into our lives and so we got Remy…

If you’re looking to add a puppy to your family this year DO IT! As long as you have the time to train and take care of the dog it’s worth every moment. I work from home and at the time the kids were home all day so I had some help, well as much help you can get from a 6 and 5 year old!

I’m rounding up the 10 essential items that I used the most in his first year! From my favorite crate, pee pads, carpet cleaners (because brace yourself there WILL be accidents), to grooming supplies it’s all right here…
