Happy Monday Friends! We’re in the thick of winter here in Idaho and I can’t help but share some of my favorite winter puffer jackets! I have a few I love and a few I have had my eye on for some time. These puffer jackets are all in various different price points but they are perfect for the winter months to keep you warm!

Some things I look for when purchasing a winter jacket. If the price point is more than one hundred dollars I want to make sure I look at how much ‘down fill’ is packed in a coat. Usually the more down fill in the jacket the warmer and pricier the coat, so you want to make sure the jacket is worth the price. Here are some of the puffer jackets I have bought and I wear…and some I want!

Some of these have been tried and tested and others I am holding myself back from impulse buying because I am really wanting them and not needing them. So don’t feel like you HAVE to buy something but if you’re in the market for a new coat do give one of these a try!

Over the years I’ve been making an effort to be more intentional with my closet. Especially after moving into the new house and having an upgrade to a larger closet. The bigger the space the more room for buying more. There’s so many ways to show your patriotism by wearing what you already have and if you don’t then these affordable basics are worth adding to your closet. Time to pull out that red white and blue!

This look is perfect for a beach day or poolside celebrations on the 4th of July. The red bathing suit gives such Baywatch vibes and it fits so well on all body types. The white linen shirt is a closet staple because it can be styled so many different ways all summer long, the denim shorts are a must they provide great coverage (not booty shorts), and these foam like sandals feel like walking on a cloud.

Add a little stripes to your look with this maxi dress it’s perfect for a hot summer day and modest. The sneakers are almost three years old and still holding up great I have walked all over New York City in them and they add the perfect amount of red, white and blue to your 4th of July outfit!

This the the cutest barbecue outfit for the 4th! I love me a cute pair of overalls for summer! This pair I found at Tjmaxx but I’ve linked another cute and soft denim pair here! Sneaker are a closet must have! Belt bags are my jam these days with the kids we are constantly on the go and its so convenient to have all my go-to’s in one small bag that’s easy to carry!

A classic white dress to twirl in during a hot summer day is perfect for an Independence Day celebration on a hot summer day. These sandals are a must for your summer capsule! And a denim jacket because our Idaho nights can still get a bit breezy once the sun sets and the fireworks start!

You’ll find me right here in this cozy set sitting on my balcony enjoying the fireworks with my babies and hoping my sweet puppy doesn’t get scared of the noise. It’ll be Remy’s first 4th of July and fireworks experience!

It’s a busy end to October for us, Rayyan’s birthday is next week! My baby turns 6! And the following week wrapping up the month with a quick couples trip to attend a family wedding.

This past week marked eight years of us being together so we booked our kid-free getaway! But coming back just in time for Halloween!

The Chi Spin Curl is automatic and has buttons to spin in two different directions. I know it sounds scary the thought of getting your hair stuck! But it’s amazing features have taken all those fears of mine away. I’m not going to lie I got my hair stuck in there the first couple times as I was getting the hang of using it but it was a breeze to get out. If your hair gets stuck the curler stops and gives you a repeated beep you can either press the off button and turn the chi off and it releases the hair so smoothly or you can unplug your curler and it also releases the hair with no damage or pull. It’s one of the most simple curlers to use. I have four sisters and two of them bought it immediately after they saw me using it. I’ll share a quick video tutorial on how to use it over on my instagram today!

It’s ceramic rotating barrel creates bouncy curls and waves. Once completed I’ll spray my hair with the Chi Style & Stay Firm Hold Protecting Spray. *Note: I’d definitely also use the Chi Heat Protectant Spray before beginning to curl just as an added protection. This curler is pure magic and you will love the ease in using it!
